Venus Vulgaris is back!
Venus Vulgaris is a new, contemporary queer space and event series in the undiscovered catacombs of Vilnius Old Town. Mysterious dungeons, false corridors, soft caves and pleasant twilight. These are former bank premises that even have a safe.
Venus Vulgaris blends exciting electronic music with artistic performances in an environment that encourages free and uninhibited expression and acceptance.
Music-wise, this time we have a rich lineup of 5 djs, including Plushka from Ukraine. Genres will range from mysterious techno and breaks to hot and cunty South American rhythms. Read more about each of the artists below.
This time through performance, we are diving into the theme of Directed by Desire. We will be exploring commands — who gives them, who receives them, and what happens in between — by practising consent on a live, pulsing edge.
This is a night of ritual and reaction, where seduction becomes instruction, and power is not just taken, but offered, craved, resisted. Expect gestures, glances, and unexpected provocations. You may find yourself obeying. You may find yourself commanding. Come dressed to play your part. The stage is everywhere. The script is yours to write — or follow.

Plushka is a fresh-faced expat from Ukraine, diving headfirst into the Lithuanian electronic scene. He loves to stir things up — mixing everything from breakbeat to hypnotic techno — all while keeping his signature eclectic flair. Join Plushka (and his friends!) for another exciting journey!

Daniele Liepa aka Dj Duvardai (Two names or also known as deuxnoms) is a dj, music lover and sound/events technician from Lithuania. Daniele takes a part in the Lithuanian DIY scene, queer and self organised spaces who explores music and socially, politically and communally driven dynamics in society while looking for non conformist ways of organising events and playing music.

Mr. Clear (Sidas Martinavičius) is a makeup and hair artist, mostly working in fashion and theater. Recently, he started DJing with the goal of bringing something fresh to Vilnius nightlife. For him, it’s not just about the music – image and style are just as important to the overall vibe. He began DJing with his own event, Ethernalline, born from the idea of adding something different to the city’s night scene. His sets focus on mixing genres like reggaeton, neo perreo, and other cunty, experimental styles.
QDIRKA
QDIRKA (aka Kudirka aka Ziggi D'Agostino aka Žygimantas Kudirka) is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and musician, co-founder of Venus Vulgaris.
Their work touches on themes of ecology, longevity, sexuality, and body image.
Every dj set is a journey through different genres and regions, looking for weird contemporary electronic sounds.
Kudirka has played on radio stations such as Cashmere radio (Berlin), Kiosk radio (Brussels), Start FM and Palanga street radio in Lithuania. They host a monthly radio show KEISTA on Radio Vilnius.
