We are starting this year's Midsummer Vilnius'23 festival on a powerful note. On the first evening, the long-awaited performance of the world-famous opera soloist, prima donna of Lithuanian opera - Violeta Urmana - will take place in the Great Courtyard of the Palace of the Lords. She will perform a sophisticated and delicate evening program of classical music together with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra (LKO) conducted by Modestos Pitrėnas.
Violeta Urmana, who has been singing in the world's most famous theaters for almost three decades, is a recognized concert and recital singer, performing the music of G. Mahler, R. Strauss, A.
