The Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius, invites you to listen to three shining vocal goddesses: Ieva Prudnikovaitė, Ona Kolobovaitė and Evelina Sašenko. Well-known to everyone, one of the most prominent Lithuanian vocalists, together with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, is preparing a special program for this evening, which will feature pieces from the best musicals of all time.
Ieva Prudnikovaitė is one of the most famous Lithuanian mezzo-sopranos, who has also conquered the stages of foreign opera houses. Singer in 2008 completed her master's studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, became a laureate of the International Singer Competition in Cologne (Germany). 2008-2014 I. Prudnikovaitė was a soloist at the Aalto Opera Theater in Essen (Germany). One of the singer's most prominent roles is Carmen in G. Bizet's opera "Karmen" at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater, for which she won the 2009 I. Prudnikovaitė was awarded the "Beacon of the Opera" as the soloist of the Opera of the Year. in 2022 the singer's star shone on the Swiss stage - I. Prudnikovaitė played the main role in Ástor Piazzolla's tango opera "Maria from Buenos Aires" at the St. Gallen Opera House.
Her colleague on stage tonight is the charming soprano Ona Kolobovaitė. in 2010 the soloist graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater with prof. Sigutė Stonytė. Back in 2009 O. Kolobovaitė became the winner of the golden voice competition "Triumph Ark", later created roles in the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater, Giedrius Kuprevičius's musical "Fire hunting with varovais" and elsewhere.
The third vocal goddess is Evelina Sashenko, the owner of an unforgettable, velvety voice. Having graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater in jazz vocals, the singer successfully participated in many different competitions, festivals and projects, such as "Love stories according to Edith Piaff", "Chopin Jazz inn" and "All that Cabaret". Together with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra and maestro G. Rinkevičius, the singer participated in the project "Su meile Barbrai", where she performed Barbra Streisand's most famous songs, prepared programs of the most beautiful love songs, films and musicals.
