The solo performance "Vyrsmas" depicts a man's inner journey from stereotypical masculinity to self-understanding and acceptance.
What emotional and psychological barriers prevent modern men from opening up? What does it mean to be vulnerable and self-compassionate?
"A sensitive open heart may seem like a weakness to "normal" people who have simplified themselves, who have exchanged their authenticity for acceptability, especially men in Lithuania. Thoughts are constantly running through my head - what is normal anyway? If I'm just an empty shell, full of nothing? What's the point of existence if I'm not in it?" asks the creator of the play, Marius Eidrigevičius.
