"Laughter is a joke, but we are immortal" - Julio Cortazar.
While visiting one of the most famous 20th century at the grave of Argentine writer Julio Cortazar, the tradition is to leave a glass of wine and a sheet of paper with a drawing of the "classes" game. The Low Air team, inspired by this tradition and the rules of the author's play with imagination, presents an innovative performance combining the fields of dance and visual art.
The artists suggest that you immerse yourself in a dream, play with your imagination and not be afraid to stay in your dreams for once. The performance is formed as a game with the viewer, involving him in unexpected collisions between dream and reality. The situations of the entire performance end at the moment of awakening.
The audience is taken to specific situations where the dominant theme is relationships - both with other people and with oneself. Delusions, subtle experiences intertwine with the reality of a dream and become an inseparable element of image and movement.
The visual dance performance "Game Over" takes dreams and analyzes how they could be explained in real life. There are many symbols and codes in the show, which the audience will try to decipher together with the creative team.
"It was amazing - so much passion, sensitivity, physical virtuosity, humor and irony. It's like my dreams of Rene Magritte paintings, computer games and rave parties all in one. As promised, Julio Cortázar was also here.” (Olia Zhuk, creative director of the Dovzhenko Center (Ukraine), 2017)
