Vilnius Chamber Theatre presents an international project - a director from Poland, Bialystok Puppet Theatre artistic director Jacek Malinowski has created a performance for Lithuanian children and their parents "Under the Mushroom" based on the play by the famous Polish playwright Marta Guśniowska.
Do animals go to heaven after death? Only writers know the answer to this question, only dreamers, poets and philosophers know. Or unique people like playwright Marta Guśniowska, who has created the play "Under the Mushroom" - a funny, imaginative and playful story about the adventures of forest foxes. The main character of the play, young Fox, does not accept that his uncle, the teacher of his life, has to be picked up and taken away by Death. The little daredevil begins to argue and negotiate with Lady Death herself.
The talented artist is convinced that a true work of art builds a bridge of love or
the world of the living and the world of the dead. And what is especially important - Marta Guśniowska knows how to make it understandable for children and wittily tell them about what their parents sometimes avoid or do not know how to tell them.
