Range Rover celebrates 55 years with a unique design exhibition in Vilnius, showcasing iconic models from 1970 to the present day.
The exhibition will run from 22 May to 9 June 2025 at the Range Rover showroom in Vilnius, providing a free opportunity to explore the evolution of SUV design.
The collection was selected by racing driver Karolis Raišys, who ensured the authentic preservation of the original models without modifications.
The exhibition is part of a series of design events taking place in conjunction with the Tactile Baltics platform and the PACAI hotel, promoting a creative dialogue between regional and global design.
As the official anniversary approaches in June, Range Rover is celebrating 55 years of modernist automotive design with a unique exhibition in Vilnius. The exhibition at the brand’s showroom tells the story of one of the world’s most iconic SUVs through five carefully selected and authentically preserved models – from the 1970s to the present day. At the heart of the exhibition are five decades of design icons. The exhibition will run from 22 May to 9 June 2025, providing a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the Range Rover design legacy. From the original classic model to the latest generation, each exhibit reflects key design milestones, united by clarity of proportion, simplicity of form and the use of timeless materials. “We are not just looking to the past – we are also reflecting on the future,” says Jakub Brodewicz, Marketing Manager for Jaguar Land Rover in the Baltics. “Range Rover has always set the design direction, and this moment is dedicated to recognizing its continued relevance not only as a car, but also as a cultural design icon.” The collection was assembled by certified Land Rover instructor and racer Karolis Raišys, who selected the cars from collectors in the Baltic States. “The selection was very strict,” says K. Raišys. “Each exhibit had to match the original specifications as closely as possible – no modifications or cosmetic changes. The essence of the exhibition is to show the design as it was created: authentic and iconic.” This exhibition is part of a wider cycle of design events taking place in Vilnius in May. The platform for contemporary Baltic design “Tactile Baltics” will be presented at the PACAI hotel, and a small part of it will also be presented at the Range Rover showroom. In collaboration with Range Rover and PACAI, both events invite to a dialogue between regional creativity and global design heritage. Entrance to both exhibitions is free. Everyone is invited: design enthusiasts, car enthusiasts and culture lovers – to discover stories told through forms, materials and visions.
