COLONIALISM! We often come across this topic too late, so this time Teatron gathers all its creative baggage and prepares for a theater and modern circus adventure - to talk about colonialism to Lithuanian children. The history of Lithuania, which was itself often occupied, would seem to be removed from the main narrative of colonialism, and nowadays, when you can travel around the world in much less than 80 days, the history of all continents is as easily accessible as the tourist spots. The performance is based on three sources of inspiration: J. Verne's book "Around the World in 80 Days", A. Chamiss's philosophical novel "Peter Schleimihl", which is mentioned as an allegorical short story about a man without a nationality, and the modern desire to use the cosmos and its bodies for our benefit. . Theater and circus dramaturgy are combined by the most talented representatives of these fields - Kristina Marija Kulinič and Džiugas Kunsmanas. By combining these performing arts, the play will talk about topics that are extremely relevant for the young audience: respect for others, travel, the planet, and the ability not to forget or appropriate what does not belong to you.
