XIV century in the middle, at the end of the plague ravaging Europe, G. Boccaccio writes his famous Decameron. That's over a hundred stories, many of which tell of sex as a pleasure practiced by all, men and women alike. G. Boccaccio was perhaps the first to write that women in general have sexual desires linked to pleasure and not just reproduction, in his work women are even more sexually active than men. Inspired by this post-pandemic classic, we assembled an amazing team of developers for a similar purpose.
Jokūb Tulaba's music, Kristina Marija Kulinič's dramaturgical style, Agnietė Lisičkinaitė's approach to moving bodies on stage and Gilda Aleksa's direction intertwine with those well known to Teatroon viewers - Milda Naudžiūnaite, Karolis Kasperavičius, Kasparus Varanavičius, and Roberta Sirgedaite. On stage we will hear songs written jointly by ALL these people. About sex. Everything that is sometimes uncomfortable to talk about will now turn into a pleasure to hum.
With the help of fiction, journalism and consultations with sexologist Laura Butvilaitė, we will talk about the most common problems of this topic, which have arisen due to the taboo of directly talking about sex. As always, when we shame ourselves, we seek to talk about what is uncomfortable for everyone.
