The name of the play "Antraplaniai" is a word that translates into "supporting role" in English, which means that the actor in the background is supporting and his function is to help the actor in the foreground to reveal himself. Thus, according to the playwright M. Baranauskaitė who chose this name, the actors are like Lithuanians who help the main actors, that is, Ukrainians. In the play, we want to show the war from several perspectives, which is Lithuanians' encounter with the war and its effects (economic, social, psychological, etc.). During the process, M. Baranauskaitė and director Loreta Vaskova interviewed twenty people: volunteers, psychologists, military medics, drivers, musicians, etc. Such a theme of the performance invites the viewer to look at it from a different perspective and ask the question, how does the war affect people who remain in the background and are not directly involved? The documentary performance "Antraplaniai" will reflect the theme of the war in Ukraine and the themes of help and involvement. What is our help? Where are the limits of help? How does war affect neighbors?
