The European Figure Skating Championships are one of the biggest and most spectacular sporting events in Europe. For the first time, hundreds of Europe's strongest figure skating athletes and coaches will come to Lithuania, to Kaunas, a city located at the confluence of two rivers, to one of the best arenas of the old continent, Žalgiris Arena. Lithuania's strongest ice dancing pair, Allison Reed and Saulius Ambrulevičius, will also compete for medals at the Championships. The Lithuanian national team will be represented in the women's and men's competitions, as well as the rising ice dancing pair of Paulina Ramanauskaite and Deividas Kizalas.
