Piano & A Microphone: Kristijonas RibaitisThe beloved format and beautiful series of concerts at the Lukiški Prison Church, inspired by Prince's legendary album "Piano & A Microphone 1983", continues! This is the third season of this intimate concert series.Where the music is played determines the enjoyment. St. Mikalojus Stebukladaris Church is already a proven place of prison conversion for music. In the very center of the church there will be only two instruments - a piano and a microphone. Some Lithuanian music creators will be in such a role for the first and maybe even the last time in their career. They will step out of their comfort zone and some of them will ask the pianists for help. This series of intimate concerts continues with our resident, everyone's friend and rapidly rising artist Kristijonas Ribaitis. This will be Kristijon's first such concert in his career, the first time in St. In the church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The occasion is big and important.Quoting Kristijon:We will not say better than him!"Such a beautiful format and this concert in St. In the church of Mikalojus Stebukladaris, there is an opportunity to expose your works, to make them sound in a different environment and mood. It will also be the only opportunity to hear works that appear very rarely in concerts. Especially with a touch of melancholy. I'm really looking forward to this show and accepting another career challenge offered by the new version of Lukiškii prison."Another prison resident, Kristijn's good friend and composer Ignas Juzokas, will help Kristijon.St. There are only 300 seats in the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. We encourage you to buy tickets in advance.Wish for a soldout!"Piano & A Microphone" concert series will be held in Lukiški prison until May.
