On their return, "Mokinukės" will hold a concert in the country's largest arena
Mokinukės, who shook the country's music scene 20 years ago and gathered thousands of fans, are back. Already on March 9, the girl group will hold an impressive evening full of nostalgia in Kaunas "Žalgiris" arena, during which they will perform with their original line-up. According to group members, it will be like a class reunion where everyone is welcome.
The hugely popular girl group had become so popular that they could boast record sales, and concert activities had become a daily occurrence. Everyone knew the lyrics to such hits as "Melagis" or "Zarakinta surakinta", which is why even today many remember the group "Mokinukės" with great nostalgia.
"Apprentices" - Simona Nainė, Ieva Vaitiekūnienė, Irūna Puzaraitė-Čepononienė, Ineta Puzaraitė-Žvagulienė, Kristina Šerkšnienė, Rūta Žilionytė and, of course, their leader Laima Lapkauskaitė - decided to return to the stage and hold an impressive concert on March 9 at "Žalgirio" in Kaunas in the arena.
"Emotions when remembering the activities of the group are always warm, pleasant, bring a smile. We really lived together, it was true and there were angers, which now make us laugh, and funny incidents. And the concerts were impressive. It was not uncommon for so many people to gather that they couldn't fit in the hall anymore and had to do two concerts. Even now, we can still see those crowds of people standing with placards and singing all the songs by heart along with us," the girls remember.
In the concert "Students. "Class Reunion" girls will perform all the brightest pieces. According to the leader of the group, the main goal of the concert is to create a long-awaited meeting from which everyone will take away the best memories.
"I think the best word to describe everything we're preparing right now is 'nostalgia.' I hope this feeling will also bring back the fans, of which "Mokinukės" had a lot," says L. Lapkauskaitė.
Ticket sales for the "Mokinukių" concert on March 9 at the "Žalgiris" arena in Kaunas start today. The first 400 tickets are cheaper. Tickets are distributed by Bilietai.lt.
