In the Panevėžys musical theater, the cornetist and jazz electronic artist Stan Nieuwenhuis (Belgium) will hold the "TRACES" concert of the Baltic States tour.
Stan Nieuwenhuis is an award-winning composer, performer and sound engineer. He shares his experience of music creation in seminars and trainings.
"This is my solo project. My "home base". It's me, my cornet and electronics. This is music that I create myself in my home studio. After many doubts, I just decided to go on stage with this project. Since I have to make all the decisions myself, who knows how it will all end?”, says cornet player and jazz electronic artist Stan Nieuwenhuis.
As a composer, Stan Nieuwenhuis constantly observes the world he lives in, emphasizes contrasts, hope, feelings in his work. He creates different styles of music that he was introduced to while growing up, even as a child. It is brass, popular, classical, electronic music. It is this musical versatility that best describes Stan Nieuwenhuis as a composer.
