Following a two-year hiatus, Ambulance on Fire have released their third album and first vinyl (Black Wave)  

Album has been in the making for two years. A balancing act between trust in the process, loss of control, feelings of hopelessness and surrender to the situation. The hare is a carrier of abundance, heralding a creative and vivacious future. Listening, noticing the inner animal in others. The album's song titles encode the points on the map of the constantly moving hare, where he has to accept the crushing sadness, apologise to himself, chase the ever-squeezing out joy, search for the answers to the recurring questions of what is the meaning of it all, and what to do. And then there is the ever-present sense of the need to multiply love all around. In the end, the hare falls in love and gets stuck in a dream of never-ending, melting Bermuda ice-cream...

Attributes: "The album is a story - the journey of the lyrical protagonist, from overwhelming sadness and hopelessness to a relieved surrender to the rhythm of the rhythm (with a hint of naivety). The texts are diary-like - inspired by the personal inner experiences of the performers. We don't leave out our main instruments: bass, flute, voices, electronics (in fact, we hear Meeta's voice significantly more in this album than in the previous ones. It is probably a testimony to a personal journey of liberation)"

About the band:

"Ambulance on Fire" is a duo of Jura Elena Šedytė and Meta Gabrielė Pelegrimaitė.Using unusual combinations of different musical styles, improvisation and compositional knowledge, the artists create a subtle eclecticism, revealing a desire not to over-categorise or stereotype musical styles.The fusion of live and electronic instruments intertwines textures, creating lyrical and sometimes spicy melodies, lo-fi and experimental motifs, complemented by dark dance music rhythms. The lyrics gently evoke a sense of empathy, drawing attention to human states such as anxiety, anger or fear, which are all the more pronounced in the lively musical atmosphere.
