Duo Andersson is one of the brightest musicians of the young generation of Lithuania: violinist Julija Ivanovaitė and pianist Paulius Andersson. Laureates of international competitions, who constantly promote the name of Lithuania abroad, aim to present rarely performed works of classical and contemporary music to the public. "We believe that there is a lot of interesting, enriching music that receives less attention - you just have to look for it," say the performers. The duo will present the program "BACH - AUERBACH" for the "Europa Vilniui" music festival.

The program will feature the works of Baroque genius Johann Sebastian Bach and one of the most successful musicians of our time, Lera Auerbach. Considered one of the most important composers of all time, Bach and his music had a huge influence on Western classical culture. Auerbach is a modern composer who draws on various musical traditions and creates her own unique style, in which we can find a number of examples - paraphrases, quotes - inspired by J.S. Bach's music. Both composers are known for their intricate textures and meticulous attention to detail, creating works that require careful listening and analysis.

During the concert, listeners will be invited to immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere and enjoy music of exceptional beauty.
