The Vilnius University (VU) Chamber Orchestra (Artistic Director: Modestas Jankūnas) and the Brussels Choir Lassenne Vocale (Artistic Director: Ivan Yohan) present the concert "Body & & Soul", featuring the jazzy "Mass" by Steve Dobrogosz.

This unconventionally composed mass for mixed choir, piano and string orchestra is an original chamber music work with Romantic and jazz influences. The Mass intertwines religious text with intonations of human emotion and passion. A version of this work for mixed choir, piano and string orchestra will be presented on 4 May at 7 pm. The concert will take place in the St. Peter's Cathedral, on May 5, 2005.

The concert will also feature works by Gustav Holst, Charles William Stanford and Ivan Yohan exploring the theme of the human body and soul.
