"Let's celebrate the river!" 2024

For the 5th time, Kaunas will host the cultural river event "Let's celebrate the river!" rowing on the Nemunas, with a cultural programme on the river and stops on the banks - cultural islands. Live music, art performances, painting plein air paintings and education, poetry readings, games, sports activities, workshops, land art, etc. At the end - at the confluence of the Nemunas and the Neris - there will also be "Let's celebrate the river!" and a programme for Kaunas' birthday. Be prepared for a cultural extension!

- TRUCK: 3-4 hrs., 10 km (duration depends on your paddling pace and engagement at the cultural stops)

Attention! 2024-05-25 in Kaunas, the ticket is non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless the event is cancelled or postponed due to the fault of the organiser. If you are unable to attend, please arrange to transfer your ticket to another person. The event will take place in all weathers, in case of rain, please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing.

Equipment and safety:

Lifejacket and paddle - for the number of people on the ticket - and a briefing at the start will be provided with your ticket.

Choose your clothing according to the weather conditions, and if the forecast is for cooler weather, dress for warmer weather. It is recommended to wear sports footwear for cold weather. Pack important items (phones, car keys, etc.) safely. You may also have a change of clothes, which we recommend you keep in a waterproof bag.

Transportation:

We recommend that you arrive at the starting point by public transport or by using a shuttle service. You can also get friendly co-operation! Your designated watercraft will be at the start location at the time of arrival at the start indicated on your ticket.

Important:

1.     We will send you the exact time of your arrival at the start location, as well as the detailed programme, to the email address you provided when you purchased your ticket

2.Arrive at the start of the route at the time of your choice (as indicated on your ticket), presenting the electronic version of your ticket on your phone at the check-in at the start

3.     Minors are only allowed to participate in the event if accompanied by their parents or an adult.

4.     Persons who are under the influence of alcohol or any other substance are not allowed to participate in the event. The organisers reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated persons and to withhold refunds.

5.      By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you do not object to filming and photography during the event.

6.      No refunds are available.
