The archaeological investigations on Mount Gediminas, which began in early 2017, have lasted several years. The results of the research are extremely significant! The remains of the leaders and participants of the 1863-1864 uprising were found here. How? Why? How were the remains of these people buried in the heart of the city? What was special about Gediminas Castle and the area around it during this period? Who were the rebels? We invite you to an exceptional Night of Museums - not only will you hear stories that testify to the relevant historical memory, but you will also have a unique opportunity to see the renewed exposition dedicated to the twenty rebels who were found here, authentic objects that belonged to them, and a variety of iconographic materials.
Free admission to the museum from 6 pm to 11 pm (the last visitors are allowed at 10:30 pm)
