Why delay?
Loreen calls herself a servant to creativity. According to Loreen, there is nothing more frustrating than trying to create a hit. She shrugs off that way of thinking. Creativity seems to come out of her effortlessly and naturally reaches an audience of impressive size. At the concerts, there is a beautiful connection and energy exchange between the performer and the audience.
Loreen is the first woman and the second person in history to win Eurovision twice. In 2012, "Euphoria" and in 2023, "Tattoo" brought her the iconic glass trophies of the fifties microphone. But it's not all about the statuettes. Loreen remembers Eurovision as an inspiring place where people come together, united by sounds and images. Today, the same is true for her music. Loreen creates a world of music unlike any other, teleports listeners into it and has, wow, a community of fans. They have made sure that Loreen's music, which does not fit into the standard categories, has a genre of its own, and they have called it 'spiritual pop'. You see, Loreen's experiences are identified with by countless fans all over the world.
The fact that such a distinctive world and the journey there works flawlessly is borne out by the telling statistics. Today, Loreen has more than 2 billion plays on various platforms. The song "Tattoo" has reached the top of the charts in 10 countries. So don't be fooled, this is definitely not a case of a Eurovision winner with a single hit and a single trump card. Loreen says her music stirs the senses, hearing, seeing and even smelling. Let's not argue, her powerful vocals, energy and electronic rhythm are truly intoxicating.
When she's not singing, what does Loreen do? Straight to her tiny house on the island of Gotland. She, her Jack Russell terrier named Lille and the Baltic Sea horizon in front of her - this is what Loreen's perfect time looks like. What else does Loreen do besides being zen? She practices Aikido martial arts and boxing. "A lot of my energy comes from my hands. Intuitively, I want to play with my hands. I feel that this is the best way to express the energy I exude," says Loreen, who invited a journalist into the Muay Thai fighting ring after an interview. That's where the desire to box comes from, and to go on stage with extra-long decorative nails.
