Para - Greek for, next to, from - the first part of compound words, indicating their presence near something, deviation from something, some kind of disturbance.
"Paraobjektai" is a live sound performance with self-made instruments, combining unconventional methods and principles of sound generation. "Paraobjects" are an expression of fantasy and interpretations that unfold in the author's imagination as individual and associative entities that create a certain narrative between normality and nonsense, reality and absurdity.
Absurdity often causes rejection in society and defines the limits of perception. However, the author sees it as an opportunity to explore situations and objects, giving space to irrational, sensory cognition. The performance invites us to distance ourselves from the clichéd model of perception, the standard canons of music creation and to experience a new being and the environment around us.
