Another trajectory of the festival is chamber music, which will be represented by the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra performers and soloists this year. The members of the orchestra are actively proposing creative ideas and bringing them to life by presenting virtuosic works that have not been heard much in Lithuania. The programme, initiated by harpist Lucille Ursula Vilimaitė together with the concertmaster of the flute group Ernesta Vauraite, presents an exotic programme of chamber music from North and Latin America, including works by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, Mexican Silverstre Revueltas, Venezuelan Aldemar Romero, Armenian-American Alan Hovhaness, and others. The concert will take place at the National Gallery of Art.
