Legendary girl group Mokinukės announces holiday concerts: will visit three cities

One of the most famous Lithuanian pop music groups Mokinukės announces a tour of holiday concerts. The legendary girl group will perform three concerts at the end of this year in the country's biggest arenas. On December 6 at Kalnapilio Arena in Panevėžys, on December 14 at Švyturys Arena in Klaipėda and on December 25 at Šiauliai Arena in Šiauliai, the big holiday concerts of the group Mokinukės will take place. At the big festive concerts, Mokinukės will perform all their biggest hits.

Public sale of tickets for the big festive concerts of the band Mokinukės in the major arenas of Panevėžys, Klaipėda and Šiauliai will begin this Friday (31 May).) from 10 a.m. onwards at all Bilietai.lt box offices and on the Internet: www.bilietai.lt. Two days earlier, on Wednesday (29 May), from 10 am, the first tickets will be available to members of the Live Nation Lietuva concert club (http://bit.ly/LiveNationConcertClub). 

Mokinukės, who gave a surprise concert at Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas at the end of 2023 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their career in 2023, will be returning again. On the occasion of the main holidays of the year, one of the country's most famous girl groups will hold major festive concerts in Panevėžys, Klaipėda and Šiauliai. On the stages of the big arenas in the three cities of the country, the audience will hear and see all the singers of Mokinukės - Simona Naina, Ieva Vaitiekūnienė, Irūna Puzaraitė-Čepononienė, Ineta Puzaraitė-Žvagulienė, Kristina Šerkšnienė and Rūta Žilionytė. 

Smokinukės, who have rocked the country's music scene for more than 20 years and gathered thousands of fans, are back. This December, the girl group will perform spectacular, nostalgia-filled concerts with their original line-up. According to the band members, it will be like a class reunion where everyone is welcome.

The hugely successful girl group became so popular in their time that they boasted record sales and performed almost every day. Many pop music fans know the lyrics to the band's hits such as "Melagis" and "Užrakinta surakinta", and many still remember Mokinukės with great nostalgia.

"Mokinukės" - Simona Nainė, Ieva Vaitiekūnienė, Irūna Puzaraitė-Čepononienė, Ineta Puzaraitė-Žvagulienė, Kristina Šerkšnienė and Rūta Žilionytė, as well as, of course, their leader Laima Lapkauskaitė - have decided to return to the stage. This year, on December 6 at Kalnapilio Arena in Panevėžys, on December 14 at Švyturys Arena in Klaipėda, and on December 25 at Šiauliai Arena in Šiauliai, the girls will perform grandiose concerts.

"The emotions that come to mind when recalling the group's activities are always warm, pleasant and smile-inducing. We all lived together in those days, so there were angers that are now laughable and funny things that happened. Of course, the concerts were spectacular. Often there were so many people that the hall could not accommodate them and extra concerts had to be announced on the same day. We still remember the crowds of people with posters - they knew all our songs by heart and sang along with us," the girls recall.

The girls will perform all of their greatest hits at the biggest arenas in three cities across the country at the concerts of Mokinukės. According to Laima Lapkauskaitė, the band's leader, the main goal of the tour is to create a long-awaited meeting from which everyone will take away the best memories.
"I think the best word to describe what we are preparing at the moment is "nostalgia". I hope that this feeling will also make the fans happy, of which Mokinukės has many," says Lina Lapkauskaitė.
