On this festive evening, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of artistic director and chief conductor of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, G. G. Rinkevich Rinkevich. Gintaras Rinkevičius, conductor of the orchestra, together with one of the brightest soloists of the younger generation of opera, soprano Ieva Barbora Juozapaityte and tenor Karol Kašiuba, will present to the audience the most beautiful operas by W.A. Mozart, G. Donizetti, G. Verdi, G.
The youngest generation opera soloist soprano Ieva Barbora Juozapaitytė graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2018 with a Master's degree in the class of Prof. Vladimir Prudnikov. In 2017-2018 she studied singing at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts in Helsinki (Finland). She has created memorable roles at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, Kaunas and Klaipėda State Music Theatres. The most notable of them are in Verdi's opera La Traviata, Puccini's opera La Boheme, E. Balthasio's opera The Journey to Tilžė, A. Dvořák's opera Undine, B. Kutavičius' opera The Bear, F. Lehar's operetta The Merry Widow, J. Strauss' operetta Blood of One Blood, F. Loewe's musical Mano puedooji ladi and others. I. B. Juozapaitytė has given numerous concerts with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra, has prepared and performed chamber music programmes at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, the Kaunas State Philharmonic and others. In 2017 she attended the London Masterclass in the United Kingdom, and in 2022 she will attend the Masterclass at the Massimo Bellini Theatre in Italy. As a member of the vocal quartet Il Senso, the singer also successfully fosters the popular classical genre.
Tonight, her partner on stage is the tenor Karolis Kašiuba. In 2015 the soloist graduated from Kaunas Juozas Gruodis Conservatoire, majoring in singing. In 2022 he graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with a Master's degree in the class of Prof. Irena Milkevičiūtė. Since 2021 K. Kašiuba has been working at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and has already created roles in such operas as Verdi's La Traviata, Puccini's La Boheme, Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier, Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, Mozart's The Enchanted Flute and others. The soloist also performs with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble Musica Humana, etc., and was voted Opera Hope of the Year in 2022 for his role as Tigrūdis in F. Bajor's opera-ballet The Lamb of God.
