Liliana Zeic's narrative explores the shared world of queer and plants through a broad representation of the spectrum of marginality and abnormality - freaks, minorities, outcasts, weeds, natural curiosities and diseases. New interspecies life forms and irrepressible beauty thrive in this exhibition narrative. The exhibition will not only feature a special series of wooden panels created using the marquetry technique, where plant motifs are intertwined with images of human bodies. It will also be possible to see a certain genesis of the artist's work, as traces of queer, multifaceted organic communities and mysterious rituals begin to emerge in her earlier works. The exhibition will be open at Kaunas Artists' House (2nd floor) (V. Putvinskio str. 56-1, Kaunas) until 8 August.
