DIAmanti (Italian: deimantai) is a trio of professional musicians consisting of cancanist Aistė Bružaitė, opera soloists Dovilė Kazonaitė and Ilona Pliavgo. The ensemble, which has recently been formed, has already had a chance to test itself in various genres from opera to rock. The talented girls are able to turn all styles of music into diamonds. Their repertoire consists of opera arias, duets, Lithuanian and folk songs and church hymns. This year DIAmanti became a member of the music television project "Lietuvos balsas. Generations". The desire to popularise the national instrument - the cancan - and the classical operatic bel canto, encourages the performers to search for new artistic forms. The trio's colourful programme ranges from Lithuanian sutartinės to Scandinavian rock. DIAmanti's programme takes the listener along the paths of Lithuanian music history, meanders through the vastness of opera and touches on the genre of popular music. The programme uses three cancellos (authentic, concert and electric), masterfully controlled by Dr. Aistė Bružaitė, while the voices of the two sopranos - Dovilė Kazonaitė and Ilona Pliavgas - are captivating with their colourful and flexible voices.
