"Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble 11" is making its debut at the Pažaislis Music Festival this summer, led by composer Jievar Jasinskis. Although the JJAZZ orchestra is associated with jazz music, according to J. Jasinskis, today the boundaries between jazz and modern music, rock or electronic are disappearing, as more and more creators seek to find new shades and weave jazz music with different styles. This will be the program that the ensemble will present to the festival audience together with the winner of the Voice of Lithuania, Kotryna Juodzevičiūta. The talented artist who creates original songs, who formed the collective "KJ Collective", currently spends a significant part of her time in London recording studios.
The original songs of Dorotėja Būdaitė and J. Jasinskis, played at the concert, invite the listeners to search together for an answer to the question - why do we always think that the grass is greener on our neighbors? In the Greener Grass program, jazz music will intertwine with elements of various other musical styles, and the lyrics will invite you not to be afraid of new ideas and the desire to discover something new.
