Event description
A fun performance for children aged 1 to 3.
"What's Up?" - is a play for the little ones about self-discovery in the world and discovering the world within themselves. "Who's there?" - is one of the first phrases a child learns. This phrase becomes a little engine of development and learning that encourages us to learn more about the world every day.
The play begins with action on the ground, on a plane. With the help of various sounds and rediscovered objects, the world of the performance gradually opens up and grows bigger and bigger for the little person, until the very "serious" games begin: the objects of the performance, the boxes, become "living", unexpected, but easily recognisable characters, such as the animals.
As the director of the performance, Agnė Sunklodaitė, says: "When I create performances, I always think about how a young person sees the world, how he or she gets acquainted with it. The question "Who is here?" The question, "What is here?" becomes the key to the performance. It is not only important for the youngest viewers to learn, know and explore things, but it is also very important to learn to interpret them little by little, thus developing the imagination and creativity of the little viewer. A simple box can become a safe place to hide and later become a puppy or another animal. The theatre is a very suitable and safe space for a little person to discover the freedom to learn to interpret."
Tickets are available for both child and adult.
