Wednesday 17 July at 18.00. Another concert from the series of events "Pėdink į Girulius" is waiting for you at the Giruli branch of the Immanuel Kant Public Library of Klaipėda City Municipality (Šlaito g. 6A). This time Darius Žvirblis will be a guest of the library and will present an acoustic evening.
Darius Žvirblis is a songwriter and performer, founder and vocalist of the Klaipėda rock band "Atika" (1996-2012). He started to compose his first original songs in 1992. While studying at Klaipėda University (specialisation in Marine Economics) in the first year he met his friends Eduard Galushkin and Maksim Borisenko. The trio formed their first band called "Bemoliai".
Darius Žvirblis and Maksimas Borisenko decided to continue their musical activity, renaming the band "Atika". During the sixteen years of the band's existence, its line-up changed many times, but D. Žvirblis remained the only constant member of Atika. During that time, there have been all kinds of things - albums, festivals, competitions, divorces and meetings. The band recorded about ten albums before breaking up in 2012. After that, Darius's solo career took off.
We invite you to participate!
