A small and very quiet town is shaken by an unexpected murder, centred on a million dollars and the most unexpected people. Among them are two officers, one of whom has only just started his job. As word of the million spreads, different groups of people make one bad decision after another, leading to the most absurd situations, while the police investigate the murder. The town's community becomes very involved in the search for the million dollars and eventually in the hiding of it, but who will get the money in the end is anyone's guess. The film's cast simply sparkles with well-known performers. Two Golden Globe nominated actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, whose credits include The Dark Knight Returns, Looper and one of Christopher Nolan's finest films, Inception, plays the lead role, while fans of romance films will remember him from 50/50, Don Juan and 500 Days of Summer. He is joined by an equally strong ensemble - Lily James (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, "Baby Driver", Disney Studios' "Cinderella", "Darkest Hour") and the rising star Himesh Patel, who was seen with Lily in "Yesterday", as well as in "Don't Look Up", "Enola Holmes 2" and in Christopher Nolan's film "Tenet".
