One of the most popular tenors in the world, Andrea Bocelli, will return to Lithuania on 24 November next year for a one-off performance in Kaunas Žalgiris Arena.
Considered an icon of the Italian vocal tradition, Andrea Bocelli has already sold more than 90 million records. Starting his journey to fame with his victory at the Sanremo Music Festival in 1994, Andrea Bocelli has been delighting the world for almost three decades with his divine voice, his unmistakable timbre and his wide repertoire ranging from operatic masterpieces to popular music.
Andrea Bocelli, who draws huge crowds at his concerts, has already set numerous music industry records. He was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010, has been nominated for six Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards, has sung for four US Presidents, three Popes, the British Royal Family, numerous Prime Ministers and has performed at the Olympics and World Expos, including the opening ceremony of the 2021 World Expo in Dubai.
Already on 21 October this year. Andrea Bocelli will release a Christmas album "A Family Christmas", recorded with his son Matteo and daughter Virginia. In addition to the classic Christmas songs, it will also include "Feliz Navidad" ("Merry Christmas"), John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" and the brand new "The Greatest Gift".
