Drum and percussion fans, please make sure you mark September 25 in the brightest colours on your calendars. On that day, the capital will be rocked by a solid earthquake on the Richter scale, triggered by the forces of three
unique drummers/percussionists - Arkadiy Gotesman, Christian Lillinger and Kresten Osgood.
The drummers representing Lithuania, Germany and Denmark are no longer bound by any geographical boundaries anymore. Their renown has transcended the borders of their home countries. They are well-known musicians, not only in Europe but also
worldwide, each with a unique musical aesthetic, sound and technique. It is almost impossible to confuse Arkady, Christian or Kresten with someone else. They are all too
distinctive.
The members of this trio, who have played in Lithuania with various bands, have given our country's music lovers a chance to hear with their own ears and see with their own eyes. However, this will be the first time that Arkady, Christian and Kresten will perform as a trio!
The trio will present a special programme "Percussion Story", which combines spontaneous improvisation and well-thought-out compositional passages. It will be a breath of fresh air in the world of drum and percussion music.
