NARINE GRIGORIAN (Festival ARMMONO, Armenia)

This impossible-to-get-into show is a winner of many international festivals and a unique phenomenon in the world of monotheatre.

Narine Grigorian not only acts as director in this production, but also creates a frantic and at the same time touching role of a buffalo woman who wants to leave her offspring. Narine Grigoryan is well known to Visaginas from previous festivals, where her plays Dzin and My Family in My Suitcase (Grand Prix, 2017) have been presented.

 

The play tells the story of a lonely female buffalo looking for a male in order to give birth to her offspring.
