Egidijus Sipavičius invites to acoustic concerts: it's time to talk
Singer Egidijus Sipavičius, a gentleman of the stage, who never lacks a smile or good energy, invites you to a slightly unusual format of concerts - in the end of November, the singer will perform three warm, intimate acoustic concerts in Vilnius, Kaunas and Alytus. The singer will be joined by pianist and well-known composer Vitalijus Neugasimovas, as well as the male vocal ensemble "Fratres".
E. Sipavičius says that he chose the acoustic form of the concerts because it was time to talk to the audience - not to shout or rage, but to hear each other, to listen to each other, to be together.
"Every text, every melody has a lot of subtexts, messages and nuances that we often don't hear. It takes concentration and open hearts to hear them. This time I want to talk about those unheard subtexts - to rethink and feel the same familiar songs together with the listeners," says the singer. - I think I have finally matured both as a musician and as a human being - I keep discovering something new in my own music and in the music of other artists, and I keep hearing wonderful things that I want to share with the audience at these concerts."
The artist says that every encounter he has with his audience is an extremely important and incomparable experience."Concerts are a source of energy and joy for me, I give a lot of myself, but at the same time I receive a lot," says Sipavičius. "Before every performance I still get excited, sometimes it seems that there is a process of mobilisation of physical and emotional energy in the body - like a huge bubble of energy, which I share with the audience during a concert. It's an incredible joy when it all works out - then I'm flying like I'm on wings for days."
