An Evening of Conscious Dance and Somatic Experience in Vilnius with Agne Dičiūte
In this open Friday session we will playfully and gently explore the art of a safe relationship and boundaries, through conscious dance, embodiment and somatic experience. There will be a space for you to move, feel and empathise with your body - an opportunity to experience your relationship with yourself and others in a safe and supportive environment.
We will invite you to experience how your body responds to connection. Do you feel open, curious or do you feel the need to retreat, to take more space for yourself? There is no right or wrong here - just an invitation to listen to the wisdom of your body. Through mindful dance, you will have the freedom to explore this in your own way, moving in whatever way feels right to you.
We will also use a range of embodiment techniques to help you stay in touch with yourself as you interact with others, finding a happy medium between being in touch with others and being in yourself. Using somatic experiencing techniques, we will look for ways to notice and respect your own boundaries so that you feel safe and grounded.
This evening is about immersing yourself in this experience, experiencing what the practices of conscious dance, grounding and somatic experiencing have to offer, and enjoying it!
Whether or not you are familiar with these kinds of practices, you are welcome in our safe and open space where you can immerse yourself in exploring the topic at your own pace.
No expectations - just being yourself, in motion, surrounded by souls like yourself.
P.S. This is a warm-up evening before the weekend workshop UNMASKING SHAME. More about the workshop here:
