Colour your daily life with new colours and joy! Newcomers, beginners and those who are thirsty for improvisation games are welcome to join our short-form improvisation club.

No prior experience in theatre or other arts is necessary for improvisation - just be yourself. We will channel the life experience you use in your everyday interactions into creativity and acting, strengthening your spontaneity, confidence, freeing your imagination, and awakening your artistic talents.

During the sessions we will introduce the basics of the art - attentive listening, mutual support, positivity, and the basic spices of improvisation - emotions, body language, statuses, and the use of imaginary things. We will play a lot, do various improvisation exercises, and touch a little bit on acting.

In short-form improvisation, situations are created by telling the audience the rules of the game or play. The rules of the games are both a training tool and a challenge for the performer to overcome.

Maximum number of participants is 15

Session time: Wednesdays 18:30 - 20:30

Cost - 15 euro for 1 session. 50 euros for 4 sessions.

Classes will be taught by Impro Kaunas Theatre company members with over five years of improvisation experience.

Impro Kaunas Theatre specialises in long-form improvisation - long improvised plays such as Armando, Monoscene and Harold. The theatre is also proficient in short-form improvisation, which is often used as a tool for education, private events and public activities. Members of the troupe regularly participate in international improvisation schools, teach others, perform, lead team-building sessions and icebreakers.
