Vidas Bareikis invites you to the exclusive GRAND AKUSTINIS SHOW concerts, including the Chamber Orchestra.
Vidas Bareikis, the always bright, good energy actor and singer, invites you to an exclusive format, very solid solo concerts "GRAND AKUSTINIS SHOW" - where the cosiness of acoustic concerts, already loved by the audience, will be transferred to a large format. The performances, which will be joined by the VB Gang, the VMU Chamber Orchestra with conductor Vytautas Lukočius, as well as unexpected guests, will feature never-before-heard arrangements of Bareikis' most popular works.
In the context of his upcoming concerts, the singer also shares an acoustic version of the piece "Cukrus", recorded with the VB gang member Gabija Lokyte, which was performed at Vilnius Cathedral Square during this year's "Sostinės dny" (Capital Days).
V. Bareikis says that during his musical career he usually organises two types of concerts. One is a stormy show with lots of movement, colour and action, accompanied by a distinctive image and bouncy music, and the other is the acoustic concerts, which are a favourite of both him and the audience.
"During these shows I sit down at the piano and invite the audience into a very cosy and intimate encounter. I improvise a lot, joke around, we have a lively conversation with the audience, I answer their questions and share stories," the singer says. -
Speaking about the idea of the GRAND AKUSTINIS SHOW, V. Bareikis says that he wanted to expand this cosy format - not only to keep all its plus points, but also to add the magic of the VMU Chamber Orchestra and unexpected guests.
"I often hear from the audience that they love the format of the acoustic concerts. I hope that during these performances I will not only meet, but exceed their expectations," he says.
According to the singer, the stage and musical activities are first and foremost a means to inspire, to delight, to relax and to invite reflection, which is what he is most interested in right now."As I always say at the beginning of my performances, if your evening after this concert is just a little bit brighter, more positive and lighter, my goal has been achieved," smiles Bareikis.
