Moon Ribas and Quim Girón (Catalonia) | SYMPHONIC FLOCK
Symphonic Flock is an open-air performance that invites the audience to flock with cyborg artist Moon Ribas and acrobat Quim Girón, shepherds and performers of this piece. A speaker is hung around the neck of each spectator, like an electronic cowbell, so the sound of the performance is constantly moving with the audience, as they and the performers form and dismantle the choreography of the stage. Joan Cot Ros, musician and soul of an orchestra formed from the audience, manipulates a whole universe of sounds created only from different voices. Symphonic Flock is a habitat, a community, an instrument, a ceremony... It is an invitation to experience a sense of community and the animal instinct that lies within man.
The presentation of the play at the ConTempo festival is sponsored by the Ramon Llull Institute
