One of the most influential bands in the history of melodic death metal - In Flames - will perform at Compensa Concert Hall in Vilnius on 3 June! The evening will start with Unprocessed, representing the new wave of progressive music, and Jinjer, playing modern groove metal.
In Flames is an icon of melodic death metal - a band that has not only stood the test of time, but has continually evolved, reflecting both its artistic aspirations and the changing trends in metal music. The band was one of the pioneers of the metalcore style, but has experimented with its sound over time. The Swedes have headlined the world's biggest festivals on numerous occasions, sharing the stage with giants such as Slipknot, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God. Their fourteenth studio album Foregone, released in 2023, combines the best aggressive and melodic elements of their cult albums with a mature, contemporary approach to music making.
Jinjer is known for its unique progressive groove metal sound and breaks all the rules of heavy metal. This Ukrainian band has earned a strong place on the world stage thanks to regular tours and appearances at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Download Festival. "Jinjer have four studio albums under their belt and their highly anticipated fifth album Duél will be released on February 7, 2025.
