Flogging Molly, a band that has been around since 1997, has earned an international reputation for its energetic live performances and unique sound, combining Irish folk music with punk rock energy. The band's leader, the charismatic Dava King, originally from Dublin, perfectly embodies the spirit of the band, combining traditional Irish instruments such as the fiddle and mandolin with the powerful rhythms of punk rock.
The band has released seven studio albums and a discography full of hits that have not only won the hearts of listeners, but also become symbols of folk-punk. Some of the most popular tracks include "Drunken Lullabies", "If I Ever Leave This World Alive", "Devil's Dance Floor" and "What's Left of the Flag".
