The legendary Turkish dance show "THE FIRE OF ANATOLIA" in Lithuania!
"The Fire of Anatolia"- a world-famous ensemble that tells the story of the ancient lands of Anatolia through dance.
The history of the civilization of Anatolia will be revealed on stage to the sound of music from different nations. Ancient ethnic dances, oriental dancers, the mesmerising dances of dervishes in snow-white robes, the dances of armed and passionate warriors. No unnecessary words, just dancing and music to feel the story in your heart!
Created in 1999 by Mustafa Erdogan, the group has become a symbol of cultural exchange between East and West, reflecting the mythology and history of the ancient region, representing a fusion of folk dance, ballet and contemporary movements, conveying a message of peace and culture. It is a unity that brings together hundreds of folk dances and music from different regions of Turkey.
"The Fire of Anatolia" is currently one of the three largest dance groups in the world.
"The Fire of Anatolia" is not only the name of the group, but also the name of the best concert programme of the company. You will go all the way, starting in the west of Turkey and ending in the morning. You will see history written through dance. Amazing synchronicity, fluidity and coherence. I want to watch this endlessly.
Your evening will be coloured with all the vibrant colours of the dances that will show how diverse Turkish culture is. How deep their roots are, how interesting their culture is - all this is true Turkish heritage. And today you will be a part of it, and you will be able to experience the memorable Turkish past expressed through dance!
Fire of Anatolia remains a completely unique phenomenon, not only among the dance groups in Turkey, but also in other parts of the world. Hundreds of dancers can appear on stage at the same time and their movements are absolutely synchronous. Such professionalism and mass participation, together with the bright costumes, is mesmerising and the speed of performance is amazing. It seems that someone has simply cloned the artists. Holding hands, the dancers perform 241 dance moves in 60 seconds. To date, no one has managed to surpass this Guinness Book of World Records achievement.
The Fire of Anatolia ensemble melted away even the political formality at the 2006 NATO conference. The dancers performed for fifty presidents. "Lights of Anatolia conquered the world's most famous venues - the Eurovision Song Contest, the opening of Formula 1, Madison Square Garden, etc.
Fire of Anatolia concerted in more than 85 countries including the USA, Australia, China, Japan and Germany. As a result, some 50 million people saw the show and learned more about Turkish culture and traditions.
