Two families traditionally spend their vacations together on the island of Bornholm, which belongs to Denmark. However, an unpleasant incident with the children disrupts their idyll: what starts as a simple argument gradually turns into a real conflict. Different approaches to parenting, midlife crisis, and long-standing marital problems start creeping out of a magician's hat full of surprises. The dream holiday turns into a nightmare.
