Event description

The situation is traditional, but the solution is truly original.

 It's shocking!

We bet you wouldn't have thought of it before.
But our comedy heroes have a strange twist in their minds.
"We will only save our relationship when we change our cultural attitudes from the ground up," says the man.

"But it doesn't happen like that. You know what happens? A nervous war, panic attacks, insomnia, a bunch of pills, psychological counselling, and finally a janitor's closet," Antonia says skeptically at first.
But in the end, HE convinces her.
In order to save the marriage, the two of them agree to become an "open couple".

Without being secretive, they have intimate relationships with others. And yet, without any shame or remorse, tell your adventures in front of your family.
Maybe some of you have tried this way of preserving relationships? If so, we'd love to hear how you got on.

Our heroes did not have it exactly as they imagined...
"This is a dance that a couple has to do together and both parties have to be prepared for sudden twists. It is impossible to predict who will come out the winner in this relationship," says Antanas Obcarskas, the director of the performance.

Comedy The Open Couple keeps the intrigue going right up to the last seconds of the performance. The spectacular finale is an even bigger surprise for the audience.
Comedy The Open Couple is based on the famous Italian play Coppia aperta, quasi spalancata (written by Dario Fo, Franca Rame and Jacopo Fo). The play, which was first performed in Italy, was a huge success due to its bold and uncensored content.

The creators of the Lithuanian production of "The Open Couple" warn that the issues and situations discussed in this play may be shocking to the more sensitive audience, and may be difficult to understand for those under 16 years of age.
