2025 m. From 29 June to 6 July in Rūdiškės, Trakai district, the Craft School "Sodžiaus meistrai" will host the 13th edition of the Young Songwriters' Camp for the thirteenth time.
The week-long camp - the forge of the songwriters - will be rich in creativity. It's a place where the first song is born, the first poem is written, and there is no shortage of discovery and new creative friendships. The time spent at the camp is an investment in creativity, in discovering and developing one's abilities.
This year's camp will have four thematically divided days dedicated to: folk song, author's song, working with poet's text, and the Andrius Kulikauskas Song Day. In addition, the camp will be visited by well-known Lithuanian artists, who will give talks, discussions, advice and, at the end of the day, review the work of the participants
Participants' ages: from 16 years to 29 years. The number of participants is 20.
You MUST be able to play an instrument.
The camp will include practical and theoretical sessions led by :
Gediminas Storpirštis, Darius Miniotas, Giedrius Arbačiauskas.In the evenings there will be concert performances by the camp participants, meetings with well-known artists.
The camp will culminate with final concerts:
July 6, 2025 - Trakai Voke Manor Farmstead
and on July 12, 2525 - at the bardic festival "Akacijų alėja".
Camp price: EUR 300/person
The price includes: workshops with the camp leaders, accommodation (7 nights/8 days), meals, new acquaintances, valuable experiences and a fantastic good time.
