At the concert dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the BALTIC ROAD, we will hear the opera stars of three Baltic countries: Guntas Gelgotė (soprano, Latvia), Helen Lepalaan (mezzo-soprano, Estonia) and Steponas Zoni (baritone, Lithuania).
In commemoration of the day of unity and solidarity of the three Baltic countries in the fight for freedom, the anthems of the three states will be performed, the most famous works of Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian composers such as G. Kuprevičius, J. Indra, G. Kalninš, Anna Haava, as well as the most famous operas, will be performed. masterpieces of operettas and songs.
You will hear the famous Figaro cavatina from G.Rosini's opera "Barber of Seville", Údris' song from V.Klova's "Pilėnai", Dalila's wonderful aria from Kamil Sensans' "Samson and Dalila", Hana and Danilo's duet from the operetta "The Merry Widow", and many more others, and the concert will be crowned by "Bunda jau Baltija" performed in the three languages of the Baltic nations.
The opera soloists will be assisted by the author of the program's arrangements - composer prof. Artūrs Anusauskas Jazz Trio: A. Anusauskas (keyboards), E. Germanovič (bass guitar), D. Rudis (drums).
