This work is not only for parents and their children, but also for everyone juggling different roles in life.
It is a dance performance performed by mother and son together. It examines the question of how one can balance family and career, especially for a woman. Raimonda Gudavičiūtė is both a caring mother and an enthusiastic artist. In the dance performance "ma(KITA)ma" the creator reveals herself in both roles - in the interaction of the creator with her 10-year-old son, who complements the performance with his own influence and experiences, there is a constant exchange on stage related to many aspects of becoming and being a mother. During the process, the complex, but at the same time wonderful complexity of motherhood comes to light. What begins as a family story develops into an empathetic dialogue between two experts who not only share their knowledge of break and contemporary dance, but also offer a completely new perspective on mother and son, gender roles and the relationship between art and life.
