"Everything in the world is so decently, justly and nobly arranged that although illness and grief are extremely contagious, laughter and good mood are even more contagious" - Charles Dickens
"Neli Beliakaitė Baltic Ballet Academy" invites you to a ballet performance for the whole family, "A Christmas Carol" based on Charles Dickens' short story.
This is one of the most famous Christmas stories of all time, encouraging us to exchange stinginess and selfishness for sincerity and understanding, to make both children and adults believe again in the magic of St. The Power of Christmas. In the modern world dominated by matter, drowning in our daily routine, we often become gloomy, withdrawn, we only care about our work and do not notice the miracles happening around us. We forget to enjoy the seemingly insignificant details, to appreciate the beauty of each passing moment, to look back at our loved ones, to see life as an opportunity to enjoy and share warmth and joy with others - after all, this is the best St. The Christmas gift we can give...
In the performance, the audience of all ages will understand the language of ballet, classical and neoclassical dance, and the young artists will convey this sensitive story and reveal the true human values expressed in the story.
During the ballet performance, music by composers Terry Davies and Danny Elfman will be played from the film "Edvardas Žirkliarankis" (1990) and the adaptation of this film for contemporary dance (2005).
The young artists of "Neli Beliakaitė Baltic Ballet Academy" will dance in the ballet performance.
