Marija Clara's acoustic concert "Silent night" is an open and intimate telling of her story through music. Life abroad and accumulated experience lay in the lyrics and sensitive melodies. In Marija Clara's work, shades of soul, jazz, indie and R&B styles merge with the artist's velvety voice. The artist's most recent EP Nothing I Shall Want (2023) received critical acclaim and helped establish her as a new generation of indie soul/alt R&B artists. In the near future, Marija is preparing to present a lofi-pop album with artist Dokkodo Sounds (UK) and a Christian soul-pop project with artist Just Derrick (UK).
Maria's eclectic music reflects the singer's colorful life. After completing English literature studies at St. Andrew's University, Scotland, she studied music performance and composition at Leeds Conservatoire, where she was tutored by Grammy-winning producer Dom Morley (Amy Winehouse, Adele, Sting, The Staves). In 2019-2021, the artist lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she met her current music producer, Latin American Grammy nominee Mateo Rodo (Maria Becerra, Natalie Perez, Ruggero).
At the concert, we will hear songs from Marija Clara's latest album and Christmas soul music.
