The XXVI International Accordion Festival Vilnius 2023 invites you to a solo concert by Finnish artist Veli Kujala.
Veli Kujala is an exceptional musician by any standards in combining both the variety of styles performed and composition.
The artist is not limited to contemporary music. He is a member of several ensembles, playing in projects ranging from free improvisation, modern projects, experiments to entertainment music. When New York's Metropolitan Opera is in need of a world-class accordionist, they call on Veli, who essentially adds to the show with his incredible presence. Where did all this come from? Perhaps the origins lie in the magic tricks that Veli has been doing since childhood? Performing as a magician requires incredible dexterity and the ability to capture the attention of the audience to surprise them. Veli Kujala has all this and not only in magic, but also in performing music with the accordion and creating the most complex compositions.
