With an international reputation as one of the most famous avant-garde bands in the world, Tiger Lillies never cease to amaze, shock and entertain. Their world is dark, peculiar and diverse, with moments of deep sadness, notes of cruel black humor and great beauty. Their songs cover all the dark aspects of life, from prostitution and drug addiction to violence and despair. Their music is a mixture of pre-war Berlin cabaret, anarchic opera and nomadic music, echoing the music stylistics of Bertolt Brecht and Jacques Brel.
